Azzaro is named after the founder, Loris Azzaro, who has Italian roots but was born in Tunisia. His desire to study the history and culture of France gave him the opportunity to obtain status and work as a teacher of French literature. And in 1962 he came to France and released his first clothing collection, which six years later brought enormous popularity and success to the author and creator of the Azzaro brand. In 2003, Loris dies, but Vanessa Seward continues to this day the work of the great literary critic as art director.
