The luxury perfumery of the premium American brand Tom Ford has become a cult for many modern aesthetes who prefer deep and exclusive scents that emphasize their individuality. The brand never leaves its fans without “gifts” and 2020 was no exception to the rule. Perfumers presented the public with a new product from the elite Private Blend collection - a rich oriental elixir Tom Ford Bitter Peach with notes of mesmerizing fruit gourmand. The composition is overflowing with the frantic sweetness of fruity accords in the classic spirit of Tom Ford fragrances. The master was inspired by the erotic velvety scent of ripe southern peach, which formed the basis of the rich olfactory pyramid of this composition. The perfume bottle is designed in appropriate shades of sunlight, in which the watercolor colors of peach and explosive blood orange are easily discernible. Fans immediately dubbed the release a modern “neo-chypre”, very clearly structured and orientally textured. In the introductory part of the melody, the rich fruity flair of ripe peach, decorated with spicy notes of cardamom and honey heliotrope, is truly felt. Closer to the heart of the symphony, the fruit is joined by the heady alcoholic audacity of expensive cognac and fiery Cuban rum, revealing an unexpectedly “lustful” side to the character of the Tom Ford Bitter Peach fragrance. Subtle indolic motifs of blooming jasmine emphasize the naturalness of the scent. The nutty-woody trail of the fragrance is a masterly game of opposites, where the smells of sandalwood, tonka bean and animalistic nuances are discerned.
